About Our Youth-Led Mission in Lewiston-Auburn

At Saloom.org, we’re not your average nonprofit. We’re a movement created by young adults who understand firsthand the struggles of starting a business without financial backing. Our goal is to empower local youth in Lewiston and Auburn, Maine, by giving them access to the resources and funding they need to launch their entrepreneurial dreams.

Built by Young Adults, For Young Adults

Unlike traditional funding sources, Saloom.org is entirely fueled by donations and contributions from young adults. This gives us a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the entrepreneurial challenges faced by the next generation.

We don’t just talk about change; we create it. Every grant we provide is a step toward building a stronger, more self-sufficient local economy. Our youth-led funding model helps cultivate a community of support, trust, and empowerment that extends far beyond financial assistance.
